Helping Those Who Have Nowhere Else To Turn

Quietly suffering within our community are thousands of disadvantaged children and veterans who desperately need dental care. They can’t afford dental insurance…they can’t afford dental care directly….and some don’t qualify for other local or state dental programs.

Without our help, they live each day with painful oral decay that can negatively impact their overall health. And in many cases, prevent them from living productive lives.

How we do it
NNDHP consists of two dental programs. Each program serves a distinctly vulnerable population within our community. We identify and qualify each case, then coordinate services with our dedicated team of volunteer dentists, hygienists, and oral health specialists.

Healthy Smile Healthy Child

Our Healthy Smile Healthy Child Program provides preventive and comprehensive oral health care to at-risk children 18-years old and younger.  It’s the only program in Nevada serving uninsured children.

Adopt a Vet Dental Program

Our Adopt a Vet Dental Program provides pro bono dental care to low-income veterans in critical need. These veterans survive on an average income of only $900/month, don’t qualify for VA dental care and can’t afford dental care any where else.

Over $4.5 Million in Dental Service Donations

Since the beginning of our programs, we served 3,297 children and 490 veterans. This is only possible thanks to the generous $4,527,619 in donated services from northern Nevada dentists. And the continued support of area labs and people like you.

Join Us in Helping More Children & Veterans

Each year, we require more resources to meet a growing need. Especially as our disadvantaged population increases. To date, children with cavities, abscesses, and other painful oral health decay must wait up to 4 months before their first dental visit. And veterans in dangerously critical need must wait up to 2 years.
