“Working with children is my passion.”

Diana Leimbach brings nine years of dental hygiene experience, five in pediatrics, to her new position as Dental Hygienist for Healthy Smile Healthy Child. Diana completed her schooling at the University of New England in Portland, Maine and has resided in Nevada for the past five years.

In her new role, Leimbach will be part of the Healthy Smile Healthy Child Dental Team bringing dental services directly to children attending Washoe County schools, as well as other children throughout communities in northern Nevada at a variety of outreach events.

“I love helping children understand how important their oral health is, in a fun way that gets them excited to take care of their teeth,” said Leimbach. “I am so grateful to be part of this amazing program!”

Although her family is back in Maine, Leimbach has been making the west coast her new home, exploring all that the area has to offer. She loves going on road trips and spends most of her free time with her husband, daughter and Pomskies. They love to go disc golfing and hiking as a family.

Northern Nevada Dental Health Programs and Healthy Smile Healthy Child could not be more excited about the experience and enthusiasm Leimbach brings to the team and looks forward to the positive impact she will help make on the health of children in our community.
